Kelly Schulze

My name is Kelly Schulze and I love being the Instructional Interventionist Teacher (IIT) at Fox Run! Before coming back home to Fox Run, I was the IIT at Olmos Elementary.  I was a classroom teacher for many years. I have taught 5th grade at Fox Run, West Avenue, and Wilshire Elementary schools. I have also taught Kindergarten, First, and Second grade. I enjoy learning new things and I consider myself a lifelong learner.  I was recently selected to go through a two year program in order to become a Certified Dyslexia Therapist. The program, Take Flight, is through the Scottish Rite Hospital here in San Antonio. I have thoroughly enjoyed applying what I have learned thus far with my students that have dyslexia.

I obtained my bachelor's degree from Southwest Texas (Texas State University) and my master's degree from Concordia University. I am a state certified Reading Specialist. Family is very important to me, and we spend a lot of time together supporting each other in various activities/sports.
