Hello, Ranger Family,
During the 2021-2022 school year, I will be teaching 1st grade Wetmore Rangers!!! This is my third-year teaching at Wetmore, and my seventh-year teaching overall. Teaching is my passion. My absolute favorite thing is witnessing the progress of my students and their confidence in becoming a lifelong learner. I especially LOVE teaching children how to READ! I have always wanted to teach 1st grade so I am grateful for this opportunity. I am so excited for all the exploring, learning, and fun we will get to have this year!
A little about me:
1. I grew up in Corsicana, Texas. I am the oldest of three girls to my parents who have been married for 37 years.
2. I graduated college from UTSA. Go Roadrunners!
3. My husband and 2-year-old daughter are my life! We have two 11-year-old cats that we adopted as kittens. They are currently learning how to navigate around our toddler.
This school year I am committed to being flexible and empathetic. None of us know what this year will bring, but please know I am here for your student and your family.
