My name is Veronica Nerone and I am an 8th grade ELAR teacher at Harris Middle School. This is my first year here at Harris, and I am excited to be joining the Harris community! I recently moved to San Antonio from Illinois, my home state, and must say, I'm looking forward to the winters here! I taught 7th grade ELA for six years in the Chicagoland area, and value the importance of developing students’ reading and writing skills. We will be reading and writing every day, using high-interest literature and informational texts, and I know that the students will show growth this year in their skills! I look forward to being a member of the Harris community, and am excited for a great year ahead!

Practices are held after school on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30.
Athletes are able to stay at school until practice in Ms. Nerone's room, C200. Players must report to C200 by 3:50. It is recommended they bring a snack to school.
GO team games start at 4:30 every Wednesday. It is recommended players stay to watch the A and B games, but they are able to leave after the GO team game. All players must be signed out from an away game by a parent, with Coach Nerone. They are able to take the bus back to Harris, but should have a ride at Harris promplty after returning; athletes will give parents notice when we leave the away game location to head back to Harris.
