Mrs. Sarah Rost

Hello, my name is Sarah Rost and I am the music teacher at Royal Ridge Elementary!

I graduated from UTSA in December of 2017 and am currently on my second year of teaching. During my student teaching, I taught in NISD at the elementary and middle school level. My first year of teaching was spent in Jourdanton, Texas as the head junior high band director and assistant high school director. While in Jourdanton, I established the elementary program and started a 5th grade choir. 

The majority of my music studies has been spent in the band area as a clarinetist! Although I continue to play and perform, my heart for teaching is at the elementary level. 

I am married to my wonderful husband Matthew and together we have our 4 year old Lily, and our baby Luna! 

I am excited to meet everyone in the Royal Ridge family and can't wait to make some music!
