Hi, my name is Veronica Nieto. This is my fourth year at Roan Forest Elementary. I am excited to begin the school year and cannot wait to meet everyone. I have six years of teaching experience, two years teaching kindergarten, one year teaching third grade and three years teaching first grade.  I am thrilled to be teaching first grade again this year. I love working with young children and watching them grow. A little bit about me,  I was born in Chicago, Illinois and raised by two Mexican immigrants. My parents are originally from Zacatecas, Mexico and have raised my sisters and I to value our Mexican heritage. I graduated from The Ohio State University, where I also met my wonderful husband.I have a daughter, Valeria and I am expecting a baby boy come December. In my free time I enjoy reading, cooking, gardening and watching Ohio State football. I am looking forward to an amazing school year! Go Bucks! 

 Hola, mi nombre es Veronica Nieto. Es mi cuarto año de maestra en la primaria de Roan Forest. Estoy muy emocionada de comenzar el año escolar y de conocer a cada uno de ustedes. Tengo seis años de experiencia como maestra, dos años enseñando kinder, un año enseñando tercero y tres años enseñando primero.   Me alegra mucho poder enseñar primer grado de nuevo este año, ya que me encanta trabajar con niños pequeños y verlos crecer. Un poco sobre mí, nací en Chicago, Illinois y fui creada por dos padres mexicanos. Mis padres son originarios de Zacatecas, México y han inculcado en mis hermanas y yo, la importancia de valorar nuestra herencia mexicana. Me gradué de la universidad de Ohio State, donde conocí a mi maravilloso esposo. Tengo una hija, Valeria y estoy esperando la llegada de mi hijo en diciembre.  En mi tiempo libre me gusta leer, cocinar, hacer jardinería y ver los partidos de football de Ohio State. iEspero tener un buen año escolar! iVamos Buckeyes!
