Coach McCrea "Mac"

I have been blessed with opportunities to teach and coach for over 10 years and compete on every level of competition as an athlete. With each experience, I’ve gained quality experience and a vast array of knowledge. My main objective is putting the students first and creating great citizens of the community. I value my role as a recruiter, mentor, parent figure, career enabler, and counselor and accept the responsibilities that come with the position of a teacher. Morals and ethics are the core and staple of my personal mission statement and I value them much more than wins during competitions.

"At the end of my career, I want to be known for the lives I've changed, not wins in my career."

DRESSING OUT:  Dressing appropriately for physical activity is imperative for success.  Each day, students will be engaging in activity that requires movement and working up a sweat!  In order to fully participate, students will want to wear shorts or wind pants, a t-shirt and tennis shoes.   North East ISD dress code must be followed and will be enforced.  Showers are available in the locker rooms and all students will be given a locker to secure personal items.  It is the responsibility of each student to lock up his or her valuables.

PARTICIPATION:  Participation is required each day in all physical education classes.  Students are graded on their full participation and doing their best.  Students who do not dress out will have a hard time fully participating.

ABSENCES:  Students are required to check with their coach on making up any missed work or workouts.  When possible, please talk to your coach in advance.

TARDIES:  Coaches will address tardiness with each individual class.

ILLNESS/INJURY:  Students should inform the instructor of any illness, injury, health condition, or physical handicap.  A note from a parent or guardian will excuse participation for ONLY one class period.  Any further excuse requires a doctor’s note.
