Ms. Stephanie Boullosa
Welcome back Defenders! I am so excited to start a new school year with you and look forward to being your 7th grade ELAR teacher. This is my first year teaching at Driscoll and I can't wait to get this 2018/2019 school year kicked off! Prior to teaching at Driscoll I taught high school, and am eager to take what I learned at that level and apply it to our classroom.
I am a proud UTSA graduate and lifelong Roadrunner. It was there that I discovered my passion for everything English-writing, literature, and language arts-and all aspects of education. I have a thirst for knowledge and enjoy sharing that knowledge with others. As far as teaching goes, the thing I enjoy the most is getting students to be better writers, readers, and critical thinkers.
Over the course of this year we will actively explore many pieces of literature, and write responsively and critically about those pieces. We will examine and discuss the deeper meaning in the chosen texts, while we organize our thoughts by way of the writing process. But don't worry, I will be with you every step of the way and invite you to take the journey with me.
I promise the work you put in will be worth the reward in the end. So, let's get on with the show and make this school year your best one yet!
