Mr. Ruben Galvan

A native to Texas, I went to UNT to study Business and Hospitality Management. During and after my training there, I worked in multiple restaurants and hotels in many capacities including front and back of house operations.

After several years in the hospitality industry, I pivoted to a career in education in 2013. I taught Math for 5 years, and now I'm on my third year teaching the Family Consumer Sciences classes here at Eisenhower Middle School. I also coach the Chess Club and co-coach the Guitar Club here at IKE.

I consider myself to be very lucky to get to do what I love here in San Antonio at one of the best middle schools in Texas.
