¡Hola a todos!

I am very happy and honored to be teaching Spanish since 2018 at Douglas MacArthur High School, Home of the Brahmas!

I was born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico and moved to the U.S. as a teenager.  I attended the University of Texas at San Antonio (GO ROADRUNNERS) where I received my BA in Spanish in 1994 and my MA in English as a Second Language in 2004.  I have been teaching since 1998, including 10 years in Morocco, where I taught English to preschoolers, and English as a Foreign Language to children, teenagers, and adults. 

I like to read and watch documentaries related to history and culture.  I also enjoy rooting for my favorite soccer teams.  However, the activity that I just love the most is spending time with my family and playing with my cats, Pastel and Garibaldi.

I am looking forward to meeting my new students and having an exciting school year 2022-2023!
