Dear Lopez Families,
I hope you are all well and taking care of each other during this crazy and confusing time. I am working on plans, assignments, and "extra stuff" for the kiddos and will have everything posted on Google Classrooms by Monday morning, 3/23/2020 (students' first day back). Mr. Wernli has sent out extensive information explaining what we know and how we plan to proceed as of today. Please be reminded that things are changing by the hour for all of us, but we're figuring it out! Please email me with any questions or concerns as we navigate this together.
See Google Classroom Codes Below :)
I am beyond thrilled to be a Lopez Middle School Panther! I have over 15 years of teaching experience ranging from Pre-K thru 9th grade, and I've consulted in many districts at all levels. I have to say, though, middle school is my favorite! I started my first year teaching 7th grade many years ago at Spring Hill ISD where I was also a Panther; I was fortunate enough to begin my teaching career along side some of the teachers who taught me. My family and I moved to San Antonio 11 years ago, and I taught at Timberwood Park Elementary in Comal ISD for 5 years. Since then, I've consulted in other districts around the state, but I am happy to be back in a classroom of my own.
I am blessed to have the opportunity to join such an amazing school, and I look forward to being a contributing factor in the on going successes here at Lopez Middle.
