Mrs. Lucy Moore
HI! my name is Lucy Moore and I'm really excited to be the Reading/English Resource teacher this year. I am originally from the small town of Fredericksburg, Texas. I graduated from the University of North Texas where I first discovered my love of teaching in working at a wonderful non-profit called Communities in Schools, an after-school program to help underprivileged kids succeed in school and beyond. After college, I taught English in South Korea with my husband.
My wonderful husband is also a special education teacher in San Antonio. We love what we do!
I truly look forward to working with your child this school year, giving them individualized attention, and helping them grow to their fullest potential. Feel free to e-mail with any questions you may have during the school year!
Mrs. Moore's Mission Statement:
Regardless of your child's abilities, I firmly believe that your child deserves a first-class education. I consider it my personal responsibility to work with the parent and all of the resources that NEISD provides to make your child as successful as they can be both in the classroom and beyond.
