Mrs. Katharine Edwards
This will be my 19th year teaching History in middle school, and my fifth year teaching at Tex Hill. I love being part of the Hill family. I graduated from Trinity University here in San Antonio, Texas, where I earned a Bachelor's of Arts in History and a Masters in Teaching. I grew up outside of Dallas and moved to San Antonio to go to college. I have been married to my husband Sal for 15 years. We have 8-year-old boys named Anthony and James.
Eighth grade US History focuses on the first half of US History. We will begin by learning about the exploration and colonization of North America and continue learning about major events that occurred in the United States through the Reconstruction Era following the Civil War.
