Biography: This will be my 30th year teaching Special Education- Starting my 4th ALE classes here at Nimitz MS. I have also taught in NEISD for 23 years, in Elementary Special Education in various teaching positions. I started my teaching career with South San ISD for the first 3 years. I have a dual Bachelors's Degree in Special Education and Psychology from Mac Murray College in Jacksonville, Illinois. I am a happy grandma to 2 grandboys: 1 is 2years old, 1 is 7months old and 1 will be here in early September.
My Goal: To teach and support ALE students in the following classes: Math, Science, Social Studies, Life Skills, and Vocational skills TEKS on pre-requisite skills/levels. I strive to promote a positive and supportive learning environment for my students. I also promote providing tools to help the students to become independent learners and productive members of society.
Interests: I love floating around in my pool, crocheting, spending time with family and friends, listening to audiobooks, binge-watching TV, and traveling.
