Hello Bush Bulldogs! My name is Kristen Aceves. I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a Minor in Communications, summa cum laude, from the University of Texas at Permian Basin. I have had the privilege to teach at Bush Middle School for over five years in ALE and taught Reading Resource for a year. I am currently the 7th grade Reading Resource teacher and 7th grade ELAR Co-Teacher. I am also a Co-Sponsor for NJHS.
I have an amazing husband, Kevin, who is a Licensed Professional Counselor for the Texas Early Childhood Intervention Program. Our daughter, Ava, is thirteen and will be an eighth grader at Bush this year. In my spare time I like to kickbox, read, paint, refinish old furniture and hang out with my family.
I believe that the parent/ teacher relationship is essential in providing the optimal outcome for our students. Please feel free to contact me anytime with any questions or concerns. The best way to reach me is via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. I look forward to hearing from and working with you.
