This is my sixth year at Reagan High School. I love teaching at Reagan and am looking forward to the 2022-23 school year! Previously, I taught 8th grade U.S. History at Brooks Academy of Science and Engineering on the south side of San Antonio. I am from a very small town in NW Oklahoma where much of my extended family still lives.

I have a B.A. in Political Science from Oklahoma State University and a Masters Degree in American History and Government from Ashland University. After college I worked in the financial services industry, first as an administrative assistant and then as an investment representative, for Edward Jones Investments. I was fortunate to be able to stay home with my boys until they started school, working on a part-time basis remodeling and selling houses. 

My family & I moved to San Antonio in 2014 after my husband retired from the U.S. Air Force. During his military service we lived in Tucson, AZ; San Juan, PR; the DFW area; Edmond, OK; and Paradise, TX. We have a son that graduated from Reagan in 2019 and now attends Georgetown University and twin boys who are Reagan seniors this year.
