Currently married and a proud father to 5 beautiful children.
I retired honorably from the US Army in November 2012, after 20 years of service as a Healthcare Specialist and Orthopedic Technician. I was an Orthopedic Technician Instructor at Womack Army Medical Center located in Ft. Bragg, NC. Also, I was employed at JBSA (formerly Ft Sam) as a Teacher (Instructor) for the Combat Medic/Healthcare Specialist Course. I taught for several years there at the Department of Combat Medic Training (DCMT).
I taught for over 10 years in the US Army. Then I began to pursue a career as a public high school teacher in 2015. I taught for several years as a certified Health Science Career & Technology teacher in the Judson Independent School District. And after many rewarding experiences, I sought new challenges here at Douglas MacArthur High School. Currently, I teach Health Science Theory, Principles of Health Science, and Medical Terminology. I’m also the primary Coordinator for HOSA, which is the Health Occupational Students of America club.
I love teaching, coaching, and mentoring our future medical leaders. There’s nothing more gratifying than watching them mature from students budding with curiosity to driven and motivated future medical professionals passionately pursuing their career pathway!

Stay tuned for additional information as it is introduced by the Student Leadership, myself, or Mr. Kyle. He and I are the HOSA Coordinators for Douglas MacArthur HS.
