Mrs. Ginger Cunningham, M.Ed.

I am the Pre-k-1st grade Special Education Resource Teacher at Northern Hills Elementary!

A Little About Me:

I am a full time Active Duty Army wife and we have four amazing kids! We stay busy at sporting events year round and love going on adventures as a family! We are currently stationed here in San Anotnio at JBSA Ft. Sam Houston. We love this city and it's rich culture!

I am passionate about teaching and especially, meeting the needs of special education students. I was a general education inclusion teacher before transitioning to a special education teacher when I came to Northern Hills. I've had several highlights during my time at Northern Hills Elementary. One of which was being awarded an Innovative Grant from the North East Educational Foundation to build a Multi-Sensory Room on our campus! We are so excited about the ways this room is meeting our student's needs and are so grateful for everything that NEEF does for our students and teachers! I was also extremely humbled and honored to be the 2018-2019 Teacher of the Year and Trinity Prize Campus Nominee!

I am eager to continue the mission of helping ALL students suceed and I am grateful to do it with such a fantastic group educators!
