Mr. Gilbert M. Hernandez
Howdy, I graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelors of Arts in History and Minor in Mathematics in 2001. The following year I joined the Marine Corps through the Officer Candidate School and earned my commission on December of 2002. My military specialty is Artillery. I served in Iraq for two deployments and once in Afghanistan. I have had the honor and privilege to work with multiple nations and fellow service members from other departments.
In 2012, I earned a Masters of Arts with Honors in Management and Leadership from Webster University. The following year I transferred out of the active duty and continued to serve in the reserves until 2015. Throughout my service I had multiple opportunities to train Marines in various facets of our profession and leadership.
As a teacher, I look forward to continue serving my country by preparing future generations in the next phase of their lives. I will accomplish this by providing my time, advise, education, and experience to ensure all students are better prepared for the realities of post high school. Every day is a school day, and yes, even teachers continue to learn. I look forward to this school year and know we will succeed.
