Ms. Jordan Loveland

Ms. Loveland has performed and taught extensively in the south Texas and North Carolina areas. Recent performances and engagements include playing with the Winston-Salem Symphony Orchestra, Carolina Philharmonic, the University of North Carolina School of the Arts Symphony Orchestra Fletcher Opera Orchestra, and the UNCSA Nu Ensemble. Ms. Loveland has worked as an AmeriCorps member, a national service organization serving high need youth through arts integration, instruction, and exposure. Ms. Loveland has worked as the assistant director and business manager for The University of Texas String Project. She gained five years of diverse and extensive experience in teaching music to a wide range of students ages birth-18 years. Ms. Loveland is a certified Suzuki teacher and has studied with Dorothy and Sharon Jones (Suzuki Early Childhood Education, stages I and II).  She is an active member of the American String Teachers Conference and presented on her curriculum for young double bassists in spring 2016.  Ms. Loveland holds a Master’s of Music in Double Bass Performance from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and a dual Bachelor's in Music Education and Music Business from The University of Texas at Austin.
