Mr. Josue Vega

GREENBACK NIGHT WELCOME VIDEO

With the start of my 11th year in education, I will be transitioning to instructional dean of English for LEE High School.  I will also be teaching Academic Literacy to incoming 9th grade students and 10th grade students.  I have taught at 3 different high schools under 4 different principals.  I have seen and experienced a great deal of instructional leadership that I hope makes me a better teacher for students who are in my class.

I have experience with English language learners, special education, section 504, honors-level, general education, and at-risks students, and I hope to continue serving students as I continue my 6th school year at LEE High School.  I have a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Texas - Pan American, and a master's degree in Educational Technology Leadership from Lamar University.  Being committed to high-quality and engaging instruction, I hope that students in my class can gain skills in English Language Arts and Reading as well as other social, emotional, and general life skills.
