Ms. Michelle Watkins

I was raised in NEISD and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1993.  I attended the University of Incarnate Word and the American College in London for my undergrad work and received a BA in Theatre in 1997.  I returned to Incarnate word for a MA in Education in 2001 and more recently completed a MEd in School Counseling through Lamar University in 2015.

I began teaching in 2001 at Garner Middle School in the areas of Theater Arts, Speech and Debate.  In 2008, I transferred to MacArthur High School where I ran the Debate team. I became a member of the Teachers of Speech Communication Association (committee member), the National Speech and Debate Association (Central Texas District Committee and National Tabulation Official) and the Texas Forensic Association (Region 3 Representative on the Executive Council).  I am also heavily involved in the University Scholastic League (Region Congress Committee and Region IV 5A and 6A Administration Staff).  I am very excited to begin my fourth year as a Johnson Jaguar.
