Mrs. Analisa Shinn-Martinez
Analisa Shinn-Martinez is a San Antonio native who has been creating art as long as she can remember. She graduated from UTSA in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Art and a Secondary Teaching Certification. Her first teaching job was at Tejeda Middle School, where she stayed for 4 years, before moving on to Johnson High School. Mrs. Shinn-Martinez is currently starting her 6th year as an art teacher at Johnson High School, and her fifth as Fine Arts Department Head. She recently completed her Master of Arts in Teaching degree through the University of Saint Mary. For the 2018-19 school year, Mrs. Shinn-Martinez will be teaching Art 1 Pre-AP, AP Drawing/Studio 2-D, Drawing II/IV, and Digital Photography (Photo II, Photo III, and AP Photo).
Joining Johnson Art
We would LOVE to have you get involved with ART! There are a number of classes to choose from beyond Art 1-- from drawing, to digital photography, to sculpture, to painting, students are sure to find something they enjoy!
