BA in Multidisciplinary Studies

James Ricker

Hi, my name is James Ricker and this is my 6th year here at Johnson High School. I graduated from University of Texas at San Antonio in the spring of 2013 with a degree in Multidisciplinary Studies.

This is my 7th year teaching overall with my first year being at Marion ISD and my last 5 years here at Johnson High School. I currently teach regular Government as well coach football. I have taught and coached at both the middle school and high school level.

I married in December of 2014, and my wife also teaches for NEISD at Jackson Middle School as a special education teacher. We have two daughters, Danielle and Peyton Ricker, who are 4 years and 2 year old.

I am very excited to continue to be a part of the Johnson community, as well as continue to help build our students academically as well as athletically. I look forward to teaching your son or daughter this year. My contact information is on my webpage, feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. Thanks.
