My educational journey began at SUNY College at Buffalo where I earned bachelor degrees in English and Political Science. I continued my education at University of Phoenix, earning a master's degree in Secondary Education.
My teaching experience includes three years at Dobson High School in Mesa, Arizona, where I taught both honors level English and co-taught classes under the inclusion model. I have attended AVID Institute and writer's workshops at Arizona State University. I am excited to continue my teaching career at Roosevelt High School with the English Department.
I know from personal experience the importance of life skills including organization, time management, and cooperation. I incorporate these lessons into my daily classroom instruction. Supports are in place to promote student success for all.
Both students and parents are free to contact me at anytime. I am looking forward to a productive, successful year!
