I am excited to continue teaching Gifted and Talented English I and co-teaching English I with Ms. Rangel! I came to to Roosevelt in 2014 after serving one year with City Year as a tutor and mentor at Martin Luther King Academy in San Antonio. My experience with City Year came after earning a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and Bachelor of Arts in English from Loyola University Chicago in 2013. As a product of North East ISD schools (Coker, Bradley, and Churchill), I am thrilled to be back from Chicago, working in my hometown.
