Graduated from UTSA in 2011 with a Bachelor's Degree in English, and a Teaching Certification. 

I began teaching the next fall at Theodore Roosevelt High School and have been here since.

I have taught English 1: on-level, co-teach, and Pre-AP; I have also taught English 4 AP Literature. This year I will be teaching English 1 Honors for all of my classes.

I have lived in Texas since the age of 4. My wife is a middle school social studies teacher, and we have a son in 2nd grade and a 1-year-old daughter.

I play drums, write poetry, and have several other hobbies and interests that you will learn about as the year progresses. 

This year will be different than any before it, but I look forward to getting to know all of you and building bonds that will last after graduation. Some parts of this year will be more difficult and some parts will be less difficult, but we will get through it all together.
