Mrs. Leslie Lorenz
I teach Pre-AP English I and AP English IV at Reagan High School.
My background is in public relations for Texas public school districts and teaching at the college level, but NEISD is my home.
I began kindergarten at Regency Elementary School and graduated from Churchill High School. After high school, I earned an undergraduate degree in Journalism from Texas A&M University and a Master of Arts in Communications from The University of the Incarnate Word. During college, I studied abroad in Castiglion Fiorentino, Italy and in Salamanca, Spain. These were wonderful experiences that had a profound impact on my education and my passion for teaching... and learning.
My husband and I have three children. Cameron graduated from Reagan High School and attends Texas Tech. Eva is a student at Reagan High School, and Lance attends Bush Middle School. We have an energetic Rat Terrier pup, "Baci", an orange tabby cat, "Gypsy" and a new chocolate Labrador named "Stella". My interests include painting, writing, walking, and taking care of my family.
Thank you for sharing your children with me. I'm looking forward to a great year!
Life is story. Love it!
