Ms. Samantha Ruiz
I graduated from Lee High School in 2009 and attended Trinity University for the next five years, with a major in History and a minor in Ancient Mediterranean Studies. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in History in 2013 and my Master of Arts in Teaching in 2014. My first year teaching was at a local charter school and the following year I began my first year at Madison High School.
This will officially be my fourth year at James Madison in High School where I will be teaching U.S. History. I look forward to starting the 2018-2019 school year and meeting all of my new students. I hope that through their time in my class, they can all learn to appreciate what makes our history so awesome, how the past continues to inform and impact our present, and how our shared history helps define who we are as American citizens.
