Ms. Trista Detamore

My name is Trista Detamore.  I am in my third year of teaching at Madison High School.  I graduated in 2014 from Texas A&M University - San Antonio with a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in Special Education.  I teach English Language Arts and Reading - Specialized Support ALE.

I was born in San Antonio, TX., but grew up in Jacksonville, FL.  I moved back about ten years ago to raise my son around family.  I have a 13 year old son with ADHD and Autism, so I know what it is like to be a parent with a student with special needs.  This aspect of my life helps me give extra special care to your student in my classroom because I demand from myself what I want from my son's teachers.
