Mr. Albert Luna
I am entering my 6th year here at Mac and my 10th year overall teaching. I was a trauma radiographer for several years before beginning my teaching career taking x-rays in various Level-1 trauma hospital in the state. During my time "shooting x-rays" I noticed that I always volunteered to supervise both high school and college interns because I loved imparting knowledge. At that point, I decided to teach high school kids and I haven't looked back since! I am currently the co-sponsor for HOSA (The Medical Club) and Quiz Bowl.
I am a lover of anatomy and love dissecting medical words. In all of my classes I stress the importance of clean eating and proper nutrition. I was a morbidly obese child and lost my weight and maintained it for over a quarter-of-a-century. Many of the diseases that afflict Americans today stem from improper nutrition and exposure to household toxins.
During my off-time, I work on my blog, podcast, and writing books about weight management. Go Brahmas!
