Mrs. Annie Kaster
After spending my childhood years in Indiana, I wanted to move south to go to college. I shoveled too much snow during the Blizzard of '78. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education from Southwest Texas State University and a Master of Science in Education from Stephen F. Austin State University. I hold certifications in Biology, Physical Education, Health and Special Education.
I began teaching at Robert E. Lee High School in 1986. While there I taught Biology and coached volleyball and basketball. I left teaching in 1997 to stay home and raise our three children. All three are graduates of MacArthur High School. (2009, 2012, 2016)
I have been a teacher at MacArthur since 2009 and prior to that substituted in North East ISD for nearly 10 years. When the opportunity to teach at MacArthur became available, it was an easy transition. It was a blessing to teach at the same high school where my children attended. I am currently a co-teacher in Biology and serve as the special education component in the classroom.
I am an avid traveler, sports enthusiast and love to cook and bake. I enjoy the outdoors, and am ready for a trip at a moments notice. You will often see me in attendance at high school, college and professional sporting events.
