Mrs. Amber De La Garza
Hi! My name is Amber De La Garza and for the 2019-2020 school year I will be working as an Algebra I co-teacher and Math Resource teacher.
Career/Education: This school year will be my tenth year in education and this will be my fifth year at MacArthur High School. I previously taught for five years at New Braunfels Middle School. I have been a Special Education teacher since I started teaching. I have taught English and Math co-teach and resource classes throught the years. I am a 2000 Seguin Matador graduate. I graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2009 with an B.A. in History. I am currently earning my graduate degree from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin in Special Education.
Family: I have a beautiful five year old daughter and am married to a wonderful husband who is in the technology industry. I am originaly from Seguin, Texas and most of my family still lives there.
