Degrees and Certifications:
Mr. John Stuart
Welcome to my webpage fellow Volunteers. I look forward to another exciting and rewarding year teaching your curious and energetic students.
I graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 1984 with a Degree in Business Administration. From 1984 until the spring of 1990 I worked for Kunz Construction Co, Inc as bookkeeper. During the summer of 1990, I decided to enter the teaching profession and earned a certification in Special Education, adding a Social Studies certification in 1998.
This is my 28th year at North East Independent School District. For the first 19 years of my career I was in the Special Education Department at MacArthur High School. Since 2010, I have been at LEE teaching Social Studies.
I married my beautiful, talented wife; Kat in 2002 and we live in Seguin, yes I commute to Lee every day. I have four grown children, a daughter, Shelby is the eldest, three sons from oldest to youngest: Shane, Branden, and Trevor.
We love all kinds of animals and have dogs and cats as pets. We also feed an assortment of animals that come to our property: Rabbits, hummingbirds, raccoons, armadillos, squirrels and all the other types of birds that live in the area.
My goal is to create an educational environment that is inviting and prepares your student for life after graduation. In my class, your child will have the benefit of a parent with experience in learning challenges, real-world work experience, and a love of learning.
I look forward to working with you to make your student the most successful they can be.
My contact email is: email@example.com. Email is my preferred method of contact, because I am hearing-impaired.
