Mr. Tom O'Brien
I am looking forward to my 16th year as a teacher in NEISD at Lee High School. I have been teaching for 21 years with the last 15 of those years at Lee. I studied Business Administrationat at VirginiaTech for two years then transferred to and graduated from Ball State University in 1981 with a degree in Special Education. I am a special education Co-teacher. This year I co-teach five sections of Aquatic Science. Over the years I have taught a variety of math and science classes including: Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Aquatic Science and Integrated Physics and Chemistry. I truly love teaching, and thoroughly enjoy math and science. As a co-teacher I will be working to provide your child with the help in class that they need to succeed. I ensure that any and all of your child’s accommodations and modifications are implemented, and provide any additional support that is needed. In addition to teaching I also provide Case Management services.
I am the Asssitant Golf Coach at Lee. I work with head Golf coach Randy Mitchel. Please contact me if your child is interested in competing in the Lee High School Golf program. We have both Boys and a Girls JV and Varsity golf teams.
