2005 - Bachelor of Arts in History from Bucknell University 2007 - Master of Science in Cultural Foundations of Education from Syracuse University

Mr. Ryan Newberger

I am very excited to be entering my eleventh year teaching here at LEE.  I graduated from Bucknell University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education.  Following this I attended Syracuse University where I earned a Master of Science in Cultural Foundations of Education.  I have previously taught World Geography, World History, Pre-Ap World History and Texas History at the middle school and high school levels.  I am currently teaching AP European History, Philosophy, World History and am one of the PALS co-sponsors.  Furthermore, I am the proud father of my 5 year-old son, Soren, who will be entering kindergarten this year.  I've spent many of my summers leading student tours of Europe or traveling internationally.  To date, I have had the pleasure of visiting Germany, Italy, France, England, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Hungary, Austria, Switzerland, Monaco, Costa Rica, and the Czech Republic.  I'm very excited to be sharing these experiences with my students.
