Mrs. Jennifer Alcala

Jennifer Alcala is the Artisitic Director of  Allied Campus Theatre.  I start teaching the technical theatre students and now have the pleasure of teaching the theatre arts I-IV and the advance theatre productions class. I am  a graduate of Texas State University with a BFA in Theatre Education. I  have been doing theatre for the last 35 years in the San Antonio, Boerne, and New Braunfels area. Starting out as an actor at Samuel Clemens High School in Schertz Texas, I decided quickly that I really wanted to be a Theatre Arts educator. I  have work professionally in the theatre world as an actor, stage manager, lighting board operator, sound board operator, and director, with Sea World of Texas and Classic Theatre of San Antonio and varies community theatre. Currenty , I just don't just teach theatre during the regular school year, I spend my  summers teaching workshops and summer camps all over South Texas. I am  proud of  the theatre program here at Legacy of Educational Excellence, and have truly found a home here as a Volunteer! When I am not working with the students here at LEE, who call me Momcala, I am the wife of a history teacher in New Braunfels and the mother to seven kids.
