Mrs. Melissa Morales
Bienvenidos and Welcome! I am excited to begin my 13th year at ISA and my 16th in education. My passions lie in making connections with others through communication and ISA has been the perfect fit for me professionally and personally. My experiences, fatih and passions have drawn me to teach Spanish and the Peer Assistance and Learning (PALS) class.
I am a native of San Antonio, Texas. I was raised on the Southside of San Antonio. I graduated from South San West Campus High School. I attended Boston University, and completed my bachelor's degree at St. Mary's University. I continued my graduated education at Trinity University and earned an MAT. I was an intern at Lee High School and later taught at Lee for 3 years.
I am an active wife and mother of 4 children. I enjoy gardening, crafting, jewelry design, and all things embroidered! I have traveled extensively throughout the US, Mexico and the Carribean and hope to continue my traveles to new places within the the US and abroad. Learning and teaching Spanish has given me the opportunities to listen, and understand the stories of others. I continue to grow as a person and gain perspective through each personal connection I experience.
