Mrs. Melanie Anderson
My goal is for my seniors to grow as writers and critical thinkers; my role is to help them prepare for life after graduation. Thus, my classroom is one that gives my students "roots and wings"--a paradoxical, yet achievable, classroom environment that provides the structure and freedom necessary for authentic learning to occur.
Moreover, I want my students to understand that writing is a process of revision. Therefore, we will write, rewrite, and write some more.
I look forward to collaborating with my students, their parents, and the senior team, as we prepare for a tremendous final year at ISA.
