Mrs. Brooke C. Morrow, M. Ed.

Welcome!

I am a graduate of Health Careers High School here in San Antonio. I attended San Antonio College and earned my AAS in Interpreting for the Deaf in 2000. Right after graduating with my Interpreting degree, I attended Gallaudet University in Washington, DC, the only University in the world in liberal education and career development for Deaf and hard of hearing students.  It was a privilege to attend as a summer student and further immerse myself in the Deaf culture and Deaf world. I have interpreted at NISD, NEISD, and at various Alamo Community Colleges. I have also worked for Deaf Interpreter Services (DIS) and free lanced as an interpreter here in San Antonio. I continue to maintain my Interpreter for the Deaf certification in the state of Texas. I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Texas A&M Kingsville and earned my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Special Education from Abilene Christian University. I recently graduated with my principal certification from Lamar University.

I started the ASL program for NEISD 12 years ago and this is my 12th year teaching at Churchill. I have been happily married for 12 years this October. My husband Scott and I are the proud parents of our cat named Shadow and our two dogs Bailey and Wrigley.

I love to spend time with my family. At this time and I am super excited to say that my husband Scott and I are fostering a 10 week old little girl with prayers and hopes to adopt. My hobbies are singing and relaxing.

I am super excited about this year. Let's have a great one!!
