Sandra Villegas McClure
Welcome to my teacher site! I am so glad that you have decided to experience this site.
My name is Sandra Villegas McClure and I am a native San Antonian. I was born here, moved with my military family, and moved back when I was 10 years old. When we came back, we moved to the South Side of San Antonio.
I attended Burbank High School where I was very involved in band; I played clarinet and was a twirler for two years.
After high school, I attended Trinity University and earned my Bachelor of Science in Business, Concentration in Finance, and Minor in Spanish.
After college I worked as a financial advisor and eventually worked in advertising, marketing, and public relations. Later, I went back to school to become a teacher.
I earned a Master of Education in Management of Technical Education from Texas State University.
While studying for my master’s, I was hired as a Marketing teacher at the Academy of Creative Education. Shortly after, I began to teach Business classes. In addition to teaching Career & Technological classes, I began teaching classes from the Health/PE department and the Communications Applications area.
A few years later, I earned another Master of Education, this one is in Educational Leadership from Trinity University.
