Ms. Bandy
Welcome back to Wood Middle School! I am so glad to have your child in one or more of my classes!
Science is the first love of my teaching life and I have taught seventh grade Science for the last five years. I hold a Bachelor's of Science in Agricultural Development from Texas A&M University (Whoop!) as well as a Master's of Business Administration and a Master's of Education from UTSA. I am so happy to be teaching Science again this year!
I am also teaching Principles of Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources for the sixth year and Investigating Careers for the second year. There are a lot of benefits in taking agriculture classes, including but not limited to, the ability to earn hours in the FFA (Future Farmers of America) by implementing student-created projects that revolve around agricutural topics and the ability to earn one hour of high school credit. All of these things will be handled by the student but facilitated in the classroom to ensure the greatest amount of success.
In addition, I teach Technology Applications where you will learn typing and presentations skills.
Thank you so much for allowing me to teach your children!
Have a great year!!
