Degrees and Certifications:
BS- Agricultural Development MBA- Business Administration MA- Curriculum and Instruction Certified in Science and Agriculture
Welcome back to Wood Middle School! I am so glad to have your child in one or more of my classes! My goal for this year is for every student to walk away from the class with a greater understanding of science in general and how science plays a role in their lives.
Science is the first love of my teaching life and I have taught seventh grade Science for the last four years. I hold a Bachelor's of Science in Agricultural Development from Texas A&M University (Whoop!) as well as a Master's of Business Administration and a Master's of Education from UTSA. I am so happy to be teaching Science this year!
I am also teaching Principles of Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources for the fifth year. There are a lot of benefits for your child to be in the class, including but not limited to, the ability to earn scholarships for college and the ability to earn one hour of high school credit. All of these things will be handled by the student but facilitated in the classroom to ensure the greatest amount of success.
Thank you so much for allowing me to teach your children!
Have a great year!!
