Ms. Robyn Bandy
Welcome back to Wood Middle School! I am so glad to have your child in one or more of my classes!
Agriculture is the first love of my teaching life and I have taught Principles of Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources for the last seven years. I hold a Bachelor's of Science in Agricultural Development from Texas A&M University (Whoop!) as well as a Master's of Business Administration and a Master's of Education from UTSA. I am so happy to be teaching Principles of Agriculture again this year!
I am also teaching Investigating Careers for the third year and introducing a new Introduction to Food Science class this year!
There are a lot of benefits in taking agriculture classes, including but not limited to, the ability to earn hours in the FFA (Future Farmers of America) by implementing student-created projects that revolve around agricutural topics and the ability to earn one hour of high school credit in the Priniciples class as an 8th grader. All of these things will be handled by the student but facilitated in the classroom to ensure the greatest amount of success.
I look forward to having your children in one or more of my classes! Have a great year!!
