I knew I wanted to be a teacher at a very young age!  I attended seven elementary schools, three high schools and one college, Kent State University.  I lived and taught in Ohio when my husband and I were married!  We welcomed a baby girl into our family in 2003- the same year I earned a Master in the Art of Teaching (Curriculum & Instruction).  My husband's work brought us to Texas in 2006 and I am so happy to have worked at John H. Wood Middle School for 14 years!  I was the Instructional Coach for Science for six years and now I am the Instructional Coach for Math!  I love this position because I get to know so many students and watch them grow in Math!  My "spare time" is usually spent with my family chauffering my daughter and enjoying watching her grow in academics and sports!  I am a Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians, Cavaliers and an Ohio State football fan, however, I have an enormous respect for the San Antonio Spurs, they truly work as a team!  I look forward to meeting you this year as the Academic Dean of Instruction!
