I hold a Masters of Fine Arts in Experimental Documentary Arts from Duke University. I also hold a Certificate of Information Science and Information Studies and a Certificate College Teaching from Duke University graduate school. I received my undergraduate degree in Film, Video, and New Media from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
Outside of the classroom, I have worked with Artpace, presented interactive artwork at Luminaria, and my film work has shown internationally. In 2018, I lead a series of film screenings in San Antonio for Tricentennial Celebration. I am also a national Ambassador for Computer Science for All Teachers, a virtual space which helps promote, train, and support computational thinking in schools.
I have been teaching at DATA since 2016. I am joining DATA High School from the middle school, where I taught Digital Communications and lead the Cyber Patriots teams with Mrs. Malin. This year, I will be teaching the new Practicum course matching students in internships throughout out city and sponsoring the Computer Science Honors Society club.
