I am on campus from 7:45 a.m. until 4:15 p.m. My tutoring hours are 7:45 a.m. until 8:15 a.m. every Wednesday.

As a Middle Level Education major at Illinois State University, who graduated with honors in December of 2015, I have strived to enhance my knowledge, experience, and understanding of the teaching and education sector. Just recently, I completed a four-month long teaching internship teaching English at Zachry Middle School in San Antonio, Texas. This experience has provided extensive knowledge of how to create as well as implement lesson plans, incorporate innovative teaching methods, and successfully reach all types of learners. I have very high expectations of myself as a teacher as well as of my students and I have always found that to be a formula for success!  I want this to be an enjoyable year for all of my students but also a productive, challenging and encouraging year. My philosophy for learning is that each child is unique, and each child learns in a different way. One of my jobs as a teacher is to help your child discover his or her individuality and work alongside with them to maximize it. I believe in hands-on experiences, learning creatively and learning though play. I am really looking forward to another fun–filled and educational year!
