Mr. Greg Demoore

Greg Demoore is in his fourth year as associate director of bands at Krueger Middle School. Mr. Demoore's responsibilities include instructing the beginner French Horn, Trombone, Saxophone, Varsity 1B Band, co-directing the Varsity 2 Band, and assisting with other responsibilties of the band program. In his first year of teaching, Mr. Demoore was able to achieve a sweepstakes rating at UIL, the first in 18 years with the school's non varsity group. Mr. Demoore also received outstanding ratings with the beginner and non varsity groups at the TLU Band Festival. In the spring of 2017, the non-varsity group received its 2nd consecutive sweepstakes. Demoore is a proud graduate of Texas Lutheran University where he studied music education with Beth Bronk, Dr. Mary Ellen Cavitt, Paula Corley, and Carol Brittin Chambers. Prior to teaching, Demoore student taught with Richard Gonzalez and Jarrett Lipman at Driscoll Middle School and Claudia Taylor Johnson High School who continue to serve as mentors to him. Most recently in the summer of 2016, Mr. Demoore had the distinct opportunity to travel to Japan and experience the band curriculum and culture lead by Mr. Keith Bearden and organized by Brain Music. Mr. Demoore is an active marching tech, private lessons instructor, masterclass teacher, and adjudicator in the San Antonio area.
