Welcome to band!!  I am very excited to begin my 17th year of teaching and my eighth year here at Jackson Middle School!  I am a native of Tennessee and received my bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Tennessee Technological University in 2004 and my master’s degree in Instrumental Conducting from the University of Florida in 2010. My main instruments are the oboe and piano.  I have been teaching band for 19 years in Iowa, Tennessee, Florida and Texas. My husband Ross and I love living in San Antonio with our boxers (Callie and Finnegan) and our three cats (Snickers, Max and Taco).

Mr. Anderson and I believe your child has unlimited potential! It is our goal to help your child reach that potential through high expectations and by developing your child's sense of self through love, compassion and care.  We are looking forward to showing your child the world of music and making them a member of the wonderful Jackson Jaguar family!
