Degrees and Certifications:
B.S. Kinesiology - Texas A&M University
I am a proud graduate of Texas A&M University! I absolutely loved my time at A&M. I received a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Dance. While at A&M I was also a member of the Aggie Dance Team for 3 years, 2 of which I was captain. I met my husband at Texas A&M. We have 2 dogs, Buster, a mutt, and Jojo, a black lab. We have one daughter, Abigail Grace Ward. She was born on October 27, 2016. She is just perfect and I can't imagine life without her!
Thus far in my career in education I have taught and substituted at several wonderful schools in different districts. I started as the Assistant Dance Team Director at Jersey Village High School in Houston, Texas. After a year in Houston my husband received a new job in San Antonio. During this first year in San Antonio I substituted long term in Comal ISD, San Antonio ISD, and North East ISD. The following year I received the position of Dance/AIM teacher at Tex Hill Middle School for our first year open.
I am happy to have found my home in North East ISD at Tex Hill Middle School. Each and every one of the students, staff, and faculty are amazing people to get the chance to work with! As the Dance/AIM teacher at Tex Hill I look forward to helping students learn about responsibility, respect, leadership, organizational skills, and much more. I am looking forward to having a great year with your students!
