Degrees and Certifications:
Bachelor of Fine Arts in English Generalist 4-8 Special Education K-12
Hello! I am excited to be at Tex Hill for our 4th year! A little bit about me: I am a product of NEISD; I graduated from Madison High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts in English at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Shortly after, I obtained my teaching certification. I have spent my entire career at the middle school level: first at Woodlake Hills Middle School in Judson ISD, then at Garner Middle School in NEISD, and finally here at Tex Hill Middle School, which I had the privilege of opening. I have taught in both special education and general education language arts roles over the years, which has allowed me a meaningful understanding of my subject matter; however, Special Education is truly where my heart feels full.
Teaching is a special joy for me as I watch my students grow as learners and as little humans. I absolutely believe that building good relationships is the key to our success as a team of parents, students, and teachers, so I welcome any questions, concerns, or comments.
Looking forward to a fantastic year four at Tex Hill!
