I am from San Antonio, Texas. I have my Bachelors of Arts in History from Texas A&M San Antonio.  I am certified in Special Education, History and general education.  I worked as a paraprofessional for 17 years before becoming a certified teacher. I have been teaching 6 years. This is my 5th year with Eisenhower Middle School and NEISD. I enjoy being part of the IKE family. I taught high school history for one year then came to Eisenhower as a redirection teacher for 2 years. Redirection was a wonderful experience. This year I will be co teaching in 7th grade Texas History and ELAR classes. I am excited about a new school year and getting to know my students and their parents.
