My personal philosophy on educating young adults:
There is an old expression that says “You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink” However, when it comes to kids and learning, I say: “Let’s make ‘em thirsty for it!” I believe in making learning fun!
Here at IKE, this will be my 8th year in the Reading/ English Department.
In 2019, I was honored by my colleagues as the Trinity Prize Excellence in teaching representative for Eisenhower.
When I am not in the classroom I am enjoing time with my husband. We have been married 27 years and have two amazing kids. Morgan and Grant are both NEISD graduates. My favorite modes of relaxing are reading, gardening, watching football or a good chick flick, cruising aroung the hill country or breathing in the salty air at the beach.
If you can't find me in San Antonio, chances are I am at the beach!
